Biography

April Morgan was born and raised on a family owned Marina in Newmarket, Ontario. At the age of sixteen she was discovered by the Modeling Association of Canada and later that year was named the Canadian Female Model of the Year.  From then on April began modeling and acting in nearby Toronto while still attending high school in Newmarket.

In 1997 April represented Sweden at The Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Finals. The very next year, April won the title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Canada 1998 and represented Canadaat the International Finals held in Las Vegas where she finished in the top ten.

Soon after the Hawaiian Tropic competition April received North American attention when she was scouted by Playboy Magazine and selected to appear on the cover of the special March 1998 edition entitled “College Girls”. This achievement was followed by numerous personal appearances, television and radio interviews as well as a visit to the Playboy mansion in Beverly Hills, California.

April has continued her acting career with appearances in numerous television shows such as PSI Factor, Code Name Eternity and Total Recall 2070 to name a few. She has also appeared in two ABC Movie of the Week specials including “The Marriage Fool” with Walter Matthau, Carrol Burnett and John Stamos and “A Tale of Two Bunnies” which featured April in a supporting role, playing the character of “Nancy”. April has been seen in an episode of the CBC dramatic series “This is Wonderland” as well as an episode of the new hit series “G-Spot” on TMN.

In addition to television, April has also worked on several movie projects such as the independent Canadian film, “Name of the Rose” as well as Hollywood blockbusters such as “Superstar” with Molly Shannon and Will Farrell and the critically acclaimed Oscar winning picture “Chicago” directed by Rob Marshall.

As a model April has traveled the world doing shoots in Singapore, Taipei, Mexico, Hawaii and the Caribbean. She has been featured in movies, television shows, commercials and countless magazines for such companies as Coke, Hawaiian Tropic, La Vie en Rose, Chatelaine, Labatt, Molson, and Venus Swimwear. In addition to her modeling and acting endeavors, you can also see April on the ice as a speedy left winger for a Toronto based hockey team featuring various local entertainers.  April continues to model all over the world and plans to continue her acting career in both the United States and Canada. She currently resides in Toronto, Canada.
